Meet The Founder

EviaRx was built on a simple belief:
patients deserve clarity—real, evidence-grounded clarity—about the medications shaping their lives.

As a Doctor of Pharmacy trained across community, pediatrics, ambulatory care, and major Chicago health systems, Caterina Rodriguez, PharmD, witnessed how rushed, fragmented, and confusing modern healthcare has become. Patients were left with questions, uncertainty, and little explanation behind the therapies being recommended to them.

She also knows this experience personally.

Before founding EviaRx, Caterina underwent a life-changing transformation—losing over 80 pounds—and faced the same challenges so many patients encounter today: contradictory information online, short appointments with little counseling, unclear explanations, and a complete lack of trustworthy, science-based education about medication options.

Her journey revealed a truth most people already feel:
access has improved, but understanding has not.

Caterina earned her PharmD from Roosevelt University at just 22 years old, the youngest in her graduating class. Her training spans:

  • Community Pharmacy

  • Pediatric & Family Medicine Support

  • Clinical Rotations across Chicago Health Systems

  • Real-world experience helping patients navigate modern care

But beyond her clinical background, it is her lived experience, clarity-focused communication, and unwavering commitment to responsible education that define EviaRx.

She created this platform to offer what she wished she had during her own journey—
clear, responsible, evidence-informed explanations written in language real people actually understand.

Looking ahead, Caterina is excited for EviaRx’s evolution.
